We are an organization that strives to create a culture of sustainability at Concordia, and thereby improve our university community by making Concordia an ecologically aware, economically responsible, and socially equitable institution. By encouraging communication within the campus community, we act as a nexus to identify, assess, and address challenges of sustainable development faced by the Concordia community, as a community.

THANK YOU!

Sustianability @ Concordia is made up of:

Students

Students act as the think tank and driving force for campus sustainability; they suggest and propose projects, undertake feasibility studies, bring stakeholders together, and secure funding for projects.

Faculty

As an important academic resource, faculty educate and inspire students to find solutions to sustainable development challenges. Faculty support students in conducting research that will build a more sustainable campus, facilitate credited coursework, and also participate in a volunteer capacity.

Staff

Staff and administrators support sustainability initiatives on campus; they move feasibility studies to action, perform day-to-day operations, provide services, act in an advisory capacity for feasibility studies and initiatives, draft policy, and lead strategic planning processes.

Community

The community is an important supporter in campus sustainability; they partner on projects and events, share important skills, provide financial support, and also act in an advisory capacity for feasibility studies and initiatives.
