The CCSA provides an understanding of the university's research, academics, operations, and community, identifying obstacles and opportunities for sustainable development on campus. The assessment process is a very important step in determining our progression towards sustainability on campus. It helps us to analyse our current situation and provides us with an invaluable tool for developing strategies to meet our goals.
Blueprints For Change will revolve around a large interactive exposition showcasing sustainability initiatives at taking place within the Concordia-Montreal community. The goal of the exposition is to promote sustainability in all domains, including: ecological, social, and economic, and to empower members of the to incorporate sustainability in their personal and professional lives.
The cornerstone of the successes that Sustainable Concordia has seen has been its multi-stakeholder approach. To recognize the inspirational people, the resourceful agencies and creative partnerships that have been fostered Sustainable Concordia holds an awards ceremony at the Blueprints for Change Festival, highlighting the ground breakers without whom this incremental process of change would be hard to continue. On the 19th of February 2009 this tradition will continue in the EV Atrium. Join us in applauding those who help make the Concordia community more sustainable.
